Call me Israel

I know Melville started Moby Dick with the sentence, “Call me Ishmael”, and it had significant meaning. I wonder if I started my book with the sentence, “Call me Israel”, if anyone would place the correct meaning to it.

They would have to remember why Jacob’s name was changed to Israel. Then they would have to know what has been going on in my life for the last several years.

I just might do it… even if nobody figures it out. I will know.
